GY-HM700U/HM700E
The GY-HM700U/HM700E is the world's first professional camcorder to offer native support for Apple's Final Cut Pro™ editing system by recording directly in ready-to-edit QuickTime™ MOV files (or MP4 files*), dramatically streamlining the video production workflow. Footage is shot to standard SDHC Class 6 memory cards, while twin card slots and automatic card switching enable seamless continuous shooting. With the optional KA-MR100G SxS memory card recorder, simultaneous shooting to SDHC and SxS memory is possible. Picture quality is assured by a newly developed 1080p Dynamic Digital Signal Processor that compresses full 1920 x 1080 HD video at up to 35 Mbps. Other key features include a new interchangeable 14x HD lens from Canon, a three 1/3-inch progressive CCD design with Triplex Offset, uncompressed Linear PCM audio recording, a stunning new 16:9 high-resolution LCOS viewfinder, and a large 4.3-inch LCD monitor with easy-to-use GUI navigation.
