UEFA European Under-21 Championship is a competition of national representative teams aged under-21 from UEFA members. It consists of a qualifying competition and a final tournament, and the final tournament is played by qualified teams and host countries. Final tournaments take place in odd years in order to avoid a clash with the UEFA European Championship and FIFA World Cup. The 2007 tournament was held in the Netherlands, and the host country won the title.
UEFA European Women's Championship is a competition of women's national representative teams from UEFA members. The 2009 tournament will be played by 12 teams including qualified countries and the hosts Norway to compete for the title. The last tournament was held in England in 2005, and Germany won their fourth consecutive championship.
UEFA European Futsal Championship in 2010 will be played by 12 teams including qualifying countries and the hosts Hungary to compete for the title. 8 teams took part in the last tournament in Portugal in 2005, and Spain won their third championship.
