HC-CW1F Driver Installation Method |
<What has been modified in this driver>
* To resolve the problem of the HC-CW1F restarting when used
with Windows XP while the unit is still connected to the PC,
even though the unit's power is off, follow the instructions
below:
<How to download the new driver software>
1. |
Create a new directory with the name
HC_CW1F_XP at a convenient location on your PC's hard
disk. |
2. |
Click the [DOWNLOAD] button at the bottom
of the screen. |
3. |
The window to select where to save will
open; select the directory you have just created and
click [SAVE]. |
4. |
The driver software will be saved to
this directory (File name: CW1F_XP.zip). |
<How to install the new driver software>
1. |
Make sure that a memory card is not inserted
in the HC-CW1F and then disconnect the HC-CW1F from
your PC. |
2. |
If an older driver has already been
installed, start up the [START]-[ALL PROGRAMS]-[Uninstall
CARD READER&WRITER (HC-CW1F)] and uninstall the
older driver. |
3. |
Double-click the CW1F_XP.zip in the file
in the HC_CW1F_ XP directory, the window of CW1F_XP.zip
will open. |
4. |
Double-click the setup.exe in the file
in the HC_CW1F_ XP directory in order to execute. |
5. |
For the remaining procedure, please refer
to the "SOFTWARE INSTALLATION" section of
the instruction manual. |

<Attention>
During the installation, the warning
screen, as shown on the right, will appear.
Click the [Continue Anyway] button. The system will then check
if the USB driver of this unit is functioning. |

6. |
Please reconnect the HC-CW1F to the PC
according to the "USING THIS UNIT" section
of the instruction manual in order to resume the use. |
